Comfortable 64 this morning... light rain and showers last night and looks to stick around through at least noontime. Nothing in traps and not sprung... don't think it visited... I would be very glad to see it killed on the road by a car... but that seldom happens... Ate some breakfast so now...

Thursday eve... 64 and up to 82... clouds and sun mix all day.... looked like rain a couple times but it mostly passed by... Got about 10 sprinkles and it stopped... partly clear out there now... Went to TSC because I have an opossum that has been around the front porch and all at night...

Better ask a true Texan about that... OR stop at a nursery/greenhouse... see what they have in stock... ask them.....I don't know about the type soil or cold/"chilling" requirements they might have...

Been a totally upside down day... 62 and up to 88 but that is in the shade this afternoon.. I can attest to it being hotter out in the sun. More humid than yesterday, so felt hotter too... Slight breeze but not much. First off, dentist. Not great... the crown that broke off and got glued back...

CONGRATS ON THE OOPS LAMBS...... Don't overdo the grain right off; so she does not get acidosis from too much grain in her gut...give her a scoop and then maybe 1/2 or so in the evening... then take a week or so, to increase it to 2 scoops,.. or more...... cows can get acidosis from too...

Long afternoon and in and done. Going to eat some soup... I have had a tooth that has been very tender around the gum... and impossible to bite down on it... had a twinge last week... thought maybe I ate something that just "stuck" into the gum or something... but then it came back Sunday...

The once a year with calves isn't so bad with us having 2 calving seasons... spring and fall... so there are usually some to sell more often than everything all at once... although we did keep all those through the winter on the corn silage and it was a good decision... besides it needing to be...

Just putting in a plug for my Greenworks mower... they have a Zero turn one also... but I wanted a conventional type tractor one. I love the "no gas, oil, carb, belts or chains or anything for the mowing deck".... Tractor Supply also has the Greenworks brand... but don't know if they would have...

I got all the mowing done here, picked up the little piles of rocks in the garden I had at the ends of some of the rows. Dug a few volunteer sunflowers that were growing and mowed off the whole garden that wasn't burned off. There were several volunteer potato plants but they are going to all...

In for the night... and I am tired enough... Samples packed and dropped off. Went to barn and got 6 buckets of feed from the feed bin to put in the back of the car. Stopped and talked to the guy about the plowing, said I finally got the pile burned... and he will come tomorrow eve...or Wed...

I get mine now at an amish/mennonite food store.... Used to get it at Rural King of all places....CocoFizz... put out by Durango Soda Company, Durango CO.... As all soda it is mostly sugars... but it is real cane sugar, not high fructose corn syrup... Makes a great ice cream soda....
