After I did more research and spoke with out vet, we decided to test a pus sample instead of blood. Apparently blood tests are more likely to be inaccurate.
The test result came back negative so I'm scratching my head. The one we tested was off the back of the jaw. He was the only sheep that had an abcess placed there. The rest have them at the mouth corners.
At the moment, all the other sheep are healed and dont have any active.
I'm left wondering how likely is it that the pus test is wrong, but also, if it's not CL, what is the abcess cause?
It's interesting.
