Bottle babies

I have 4 does that may very well be kidding in the next few months.

Being a goat newb I have been reading like a mad man. Finally got their feeding schedule and minerals and all of that good jazz in order.

Been working on my kidding bucket and emergency kit.

So now that leads me to my next question - Bottle babies.

How often do bottle babies need fed? My worry is that I am gone for from from 8-10hours a day for work. Would a kid being ok that long with out being fed?

That page has the bottle feeding schedule we use / have had success with.

It's actually better to feed them less often than you'd think, less risk of FKS / acidosis from undigested milk.

Ours are fed at 8am, 2 pm, and 9 pm....starting from birth.
