Hey y'all! You might know me from BYC but I thought I might as well check out BYH...so! I currently have no backyard herds but it would be nice to get some! I currently have around 20 chickens though, Rhode Island Reds, leghorns, so on. I've had them for about 13 years now.
I want goats, but until then I will just make do with my bantams.

Do you have the same name on BYC?

5 acres is just fine for small livestock. You can have large livestock but will have to spend more on feed and hay. We can help you plan shelter, fencing, cross fencing and what animals fit your plans and land.
So many people move to land and go overboard, trying to have everything. They overload themselves and get discouraged. Make drawings, take pictures, take your time and don’t be in a hurry.
