Many of you woke up today to a flood of inappropriate language posts from a possibly compromised account—over 3,700 in total. We want to thank every one of you who quickly reported the issue. Because of your prompt action, we were able to remove the offending member and delete all of the inappropriate posts.

We truly appreciate how proactive and protective this community is. Your quick responses help us maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming space for all members.

We're also reviewing additional safeguards and prevention methods to minimize the risk of something like this happening again. In the meantime, if you ever notice anything suspicious, please don’t hesitate to report it right away.

Thanks everybody! In general, we have pretty good moderation support over here that's usually more than sufficient for the average spammer or troll.

That said, if for some reason there is something really problematic going on that needs immediate attention, there are a few options:

1) Send a PM here to any/all of: @Nifty @BYH Project Manager @Support and/or @DuckLady
2) Another option (like if BYH is down) you could hop over to BYC (totally different servers, etc.) and post a thread in the feedback section and/or message me and/or other moderators there.

Hopefully neither of those are ever needed, but just wanted to put them out there as options just in case.
