Nigerian goat Mimi
New to Nigerian goats (thanks to my daughter ) previously raised Saanen goats. Animals live here for their whole life. I’ve never sold any horses goats or chickens literally have 2 13 year-old chickens still in my coop. I have a 34 year-old Arabian that I’ve had since birth and four other horses that will also be here for life. We’ve lived on the same property for over 40 years. I lost my last Saanen two years ago at nine years old. I’ve missed having Goats. My daughter started to breed Nigerians and as a result I am once again happy to get goat milk, and making cheese. I not only make a number of soft cheeses, but I make cheddars as well. Highly recommend anyone who wants to make cheese to make the investment and purchase the Ricky Carroll book. I actually went to one of her classes. Happy to have the Goatie personality back in my barn !
