The women's conference was great. But I found it impossible to sit still for any length of time without struggling to stay awake. 😔
Granted, it was a 4:30 wakeup in order to pickup my sister, get some breakfast & be there when the doors open... but that didn't used to be a problem.
We had some great conversations during breaks. Enjoyed meeting some of the ladies there & loved praising God in the midst of 1000 women. Even though the speakers & Emerson Day were engaging, we ended up deciding to leave an hour or so early.
Although I feel like some good things are about to happen, I'm a little disappointed that I couldn't manage a day time event ..... but am wide awake here in the wee hours of the morning.... again.
It is what it is. 🤷‍♀️

I fall asleep if I sit for very long. I never took naps, but I do now. And it seems that I can’t stay awake past 9:00. I wake up at stupid hours and can’t go back to sleep. Annoying.

Your sleep patterns are disrupted because you work at night. I’ve worked nights before and it really messes with your sleep. I’m a bright morning person but even I have to say a 2 or 3 AM is ridiculous.
