I'd give them some pellets everynight. Maybe a 1/4 of a cup for each of them? I prefer water bottles. They pea in their dishes and youd have to change water a lot........

Is she a young doe? If its hot where you are at that probably affected it. My French lop gave birth to 8 and lost them all it was just to hot for them.......

That does sound like good ideas! I may try a patch of alfalfa in the back garden next year. How much would I need to plant for 7 adult rabbits and then some babies?

I usually put a small piece of wood for them to stand on. I raise french lops and sometimes they set ontop of their nests too........

Yes I know that. But I wanna have amore efficient alternative......I have corn for the chickens in the garden. Can rabbits eat the fodder? Same thing with sunflowers? I just have to plant them.......then I will give seeds to the chickens and some to the buns and give them stalks. How about lawn...

At 7 or 8 weeks I just take the babies from her and put them in another cage. No body is ever in distress and its simple :)

What we would be converting into a goat enclosure would be a fairly large flower garden that is way past its prime and is mainly briars and dead trees. Also lots of cover plants like juniper and piles of leaves and this is big enough to put a fairly large house with milking station and a place...
