WHYYYYYY?????
Ugh - At least I managed to sleep in until 4:47. Yay for extra sleep, lol. A lot on my plate today - probably won't get it all done. Occupational therapy for DH this morning. Physical Therapy this afternoon. I need to get my lone volunteer tomato plant covered today before...
Been up about an hour - first cup down. Cooler here too - 57 at wake-up. Two inches of rain in two days. We've had enough now!
Today is the second of three doc appts for DH this week. Ugh - just want to get them behind us.
Grandson's 18th b'day today. Look out world!
Oh my goodness - I swear I didn't laugh!
Could you maybe hobble her or tie up a back leg so she can't run so fast? 'Course she'd probably end throwing herself down - but hey - teach them babies to drink while she's on her back in the mud!
I am so sorry. You did everything you could for him for his entire life. I hope you find some comfort knowing that. The loss never gets easier, but you have the good memories to help you through.
Dunno....but without a buck around maybe she's just suffering in silence, lol.
You could P-test her. Seems a bit pointless now since it's been roughly 5 months since you bought her but it might give you peace of mind either way...

Can you dispatch them and maybe toss 'em to the ranch dogs for disposal?
When I've previously butchered ducks I only took the breast and legs. No gutting! I skinned the legs and only plucked the breast. It wasn't terrible...
Geeze Louise!
Simmer down! Maybe you'd like to go back and re-read the advice you asked for and were given. People went out of their way to help, and you might consider being grateful for the time they took.
No one suggested that you get a new cow! They only suggested looking up (googling)...
I was just wondering because when my ES girls fight they end up with injuries on their face, neck and front legs. They fight so often and so bad that I never, and I mean NEVER, let them be together anymore. It's awful because they used to love to run and play together. Bitch fights are real...
That's a good idea. They tend not to appreciate all that we do for them from a medical standpoint. I've got to start treatment on a doe with an eye problem. She's the only goat on my place that doesn't love me... I can only imagine that she's going to not love me a lot more when we get...
