Iron is generally prescribed for the anemia caused by the worms - not as a deworming medication for the worms themselves. I can't see the iron being detrimental unless the animal has an allergic reaction to it and goes down immediately after the injection.

Get a spray bottle and put water in it. When they are obnoxious and trying to jump on you - spray 'em in the face with the water. They hate it and they should learn to respect it pretty quickly. Have fun!
We registered and showed goats with scurs. That was with the National Pygmy Goat Association - I don't know about other registries. I'd get on the registry website and see if there's any mention - or just call 'em and ask.

I have discovered that when I wear out quickly or don't bounce back like normal that I may be a bit dehydrated. It's amazing how ingesting some extra fluids and/or an electrolyte drink helps me get back to normal.
