Boy, that's a litter and a half !!!!!! All little tiny ones are so cute.... and then they get so cute as they stumble along on their little legs exploring.... and then they get to be little "pains"......

Arm and Hammer detergent, and Super washing soda by Arm and Hammer...... if there are bad stains that have set more... I use A&H detergent and 20 mule Team borax...
I have had several allergic reactions to things like Tide, and other detergents... never tried the newer different "sensitive...

I did get the spider plants watered good and the Chrysanthemums watered. Got at discount price a week or 2 ago... plan to plant them and see if any survive for next year...
Home from the service and a lunch afterwards. visited with the family a little... DS had spent alot more time over there over the years and is better friends with the family than I am... plus taking his dad a couple times to go see him and trips to poultry shows too...

Our cow/calf operation, selling the calves as feeders, has to pay feed costs, and the farm payments. The hay sales pays for the fertilizer and all our haymaking expenses. Of course we don't figure in our time as wages, which we should... but it does go a long way to paying the part-time help...
Both genetics and environment... I've got the genetics... and am in the environment... so guess I'll be here forever... just got to get some of this weight gone and get back in better shape. might start walking the long drive in and out of the farm... flat, so pretty easy on the knees...no...
Tuesday.... 51 overnight.. up to 71 today. Started out cloudy, but sun came over the hill. Quite the breeze early, but it did warm up decently.
Went to the farm and DS had the tractor battery on the charger???? Seems he had backed ip up the lane the other day after I parked it... and...
Single strands of electric are not meant for sheep or goats... especially wooled sheep....
We couldn't keep the sheep in 4 strands at the one place... Netting is about the only thing that works for them...
We run 2 strands of hot wire for the cattle at the nurse cow pasture... and they learned...

Monday night. Dark out and I am in for the night.
DS texted earlier and said to come to the barn when I could. I left about 10 minutes later and went down to the barn... He had gotten all the calves in out of the back that he wanted to sort into groups sizes.... only 1 small one to go with...
BRRRR chilly morning... 39 to start. Supposed to warm up to 60 today.
Lists made up for preg check... new "inventory list" for nurse cow pasture with the heifers we moved there to be bred.
Sun is coming over hill. See on weather forecast that they have upped it to a 30% chance of showers...
