Your talent & innovation are undeniable😁. But I send my kudos to wife for getting those carrots out of the ground in one piece!!!:ep
Now -- a huge thank you for your service. A blessed Veterans day. 🥰
And tomorrow is a holiday, Veterans day. Not all places close but --
I would think as you are in situation you describe. Lot of extra weight, set her off balance, strain on weak muscle, etc.
Do you have any comfrey or plantain growing there? If so give her a few leaves. If not, some...
Several meat rabbits people on board. Here? Well I've eaten and helped clean rabbit but can't make myself get beyond that cute factor to harvest. 😉
Excellent meat. A couple good does will give you a good stock of meats. Plus, fun a long the way 😀
Welcome from VA
Coffee & cornbread -- butter & red pepper jelly 😁. Baking took chill off, as did a sweatshirt. Sun is out bright. I'm gonna make this a good day outside. So far, still looking like I'm home all week. 🫣
If you have an SUV type vehicle, use back load. I find it takes a LOT more muscles and pull/lift to get out of inside a "car" behind seat. If I am in car & must buy, I put on the seat...higher, less lift. Same with a standard car trunk.
I'm thinking you have an SUV vehicle. Bags can be slid...
If preggers, end of Nov is the latest to kid....if not bagging more by Thanksgiving, not bred. Is she a first freshener? If so, maaayyy be carrying single & bag last minute.
But if you paid more "because" pregnant, I'd call breeder. Re breed? Looks dairy and most dairy are...
Was she with a buck? If so, probably is -- they don't miss many 😁 :old
Bag doesn't show much to me....I've got several ladies that carry that much after a few kiddings.
Pretty girl, either way.
Look at the pretty yellow eyes!
I became part of the "cat distribution system" this spring -- a young solid black with beautiful green eyes -- appeared and stayed. Could find no one to claim as missing. Had been handled some, so semi tame, now is friendly tame. 😁 Could become insider with...
Offering a cleaning service -- if you know how to treat the materials well -- could be a nice little side. It can be a tedious, time consuming job!! Not every rider has the time for the deep clean/treatments needed even knowing the expense of a good saddle! Leather needs care to last.
I like as much natural growing as anyone, in my garden. My animals -- not watching them die when meds can help & cure should they be sick. Careful, selective & timely use eliminates issues with meat when butchered or milk from the girls. The food they received can be a greater issue than meds...
He's not big corporate, maybe real farmers will get some consideration. :fl
Coffee happening. I painted a good portion of a barn shed yesterday, hope to finish that today. May not have been most important thing on list but, weather perfect....plus it's what I felt like doing😁 and needed...
Shocking but true -- both situations. Not every donk but, some will.
I found this more of a concern with singular animals than herd. It is always a consideration to be aware of. Plus one used to their herd of sheep/goats often attack the ram/buck when added for breeding. They are not so...
I take pictures, too. BUT Saanen are white or very light cream....it's a challenge with 10 white moms & 20 white babes! Even with colored bucks, often the white is dominate. I love a marking -- any marking🤪. This year, to add confusion, I've had the kids change color 😵💫 What began as...
