Malformed Still born Litter and a Dying Doe.

Lol... Thanks, I am no a fan of pop-up adds! The liver looked like it was shaped a and placed correctly, but it seemed a little larger than what I would've expected.

Attention Bookworms... It's Time For The 2019 Reading Challenge!

Welcome! The Fanny Flagg book I just finished was great! It made me laugh so hard I cried. I highly recommend it, along with anything else that she has written.

I think so, kinda. I found a tumor on her uterus that looks like it had ruptured. She also had thick yellow fat on her liver, kidneys, and her heart... Which I found odd because she didn't appear or feel overweight... So now I'm puzzled about what may have caused that.

Maybe you can't see it in the photo, but two had very misshapen legs and all were tiny but three were super tiny and like their ears hadn't formed properly yet. There was A LOT of blood in the nest box. Is pregnancy toxemia common? What can cause it?

Malformed Still born Litter and a Dying Doe.

I lost a QH foal to fescue way back in 1992. I wouldn't think it is the hay, I have had six healthy litters since I started feeding it.

Malformed Still born Litter and a Dying Doe.

Hay is scarce and expensive this year. I have been feeding a second cutting mixed grass hay that I've been using for three months.

I use some pellets, more in the winter. I either use 18% Mana Pro. Everyone else seems fine and I have been feeding it to multiple pregnant and nursing does.

I have not posted them because I forgot to post a graphic warning in the tile and I can't figure out how to edit the title... Do you think it would be ok to post them anyway?

Possible. I've had does that just wouldn't take, but two of them makes the buck suspect.

Malformed Still born Litter and a Dying Doe.

I forgot to put a graphic warning in the title and can't figure out how to edit it... Is it ok to post pics of the kits?... They are gross, but maybe someone has seen this before and has some ideas what went wrong.

I dont feel anymore in there. She was dying. I just culled her. I have an appointment and unbreakable plans after, so I wrapped her up and put her on ice so I can do an autopsy and see what I can see in the morning.:hit The kits we're all different stages of undeveloment... all much smaller...

Malformed Still born Litter and a Dying Doe.

I just went out to check the rabbit's and my doe Coco, who was due this upcoming Wednesday, had given birth to a litter of malformed and underformed kits and is in the process of dying. She's only two years old, she's a proven mother, she acted fine... WTF? Any ideas?
