@Latestarter I am glad you mentioned this. The person posting all my articles that is the blogging head changed a lot of the things I wrote up for the application including these things. I will write her and let her know about this! Thanks
EDIT: Just sent an email to try and get changes made...

Well, I am thoroughly confused now! My mother in law tells me that these plants come from her grandfather- they are supposedly some sort of GARLIC bulbs that were throw out and have grown! Any ideas on this? I tried to look up information about the differences between the wild onion and the wild...
These onions were found growing wild behind an old building (luckily no cows so we don't have onion flavored milk haha). No gardens have been there in the past, and we haven't grown onions at all lately. There are some smaller ones and a few larger ones in the bunch. Going to try flavoring a...
We have a TON of little wild onions growing around here, and I know many of you love canning and storing food. Any good recipes for wild onions, or a way to store them? Also, is it possible to dehydrate them for seasoning? Thank you all!
Well Panthers because some of my family really likes them..and Ravens because they are the first team I ever watched play. Some silly reasons I know :D
My husband served in the Marine Corps, and my best friend is still serving now (stationed in WV). My friend was formerly GoatWalker on BYC a few years ago before boot camp!
Late response here but happy birthday USMC! Thank you to all the Marines out there (and other military branches as well).
Let me know how this goes- especially with your breeding and fiber sales. I have an English buck myself and hope to be finding a mate for him soon. Best wishes to you!
I'm not sure how to go about wording this, but I have some items already made for sale, and can make items too. We sell many homemade crafts that are made from natural or recycled materials, including signs/walking sticks/bird houses/e.t.c. - these crafts help us support our homestead. I am not...

:caf:hu
It has been the only double yolk egg so far from her, so I don't think it will be all the time! If it was, that would blow my mind. Finding that one egg was bad enough, I'd be losing my mind is she laid like that all the time! :D =D
I have been seriously considering this, but I told my husband I want to make a cap out of whatever I trap when I set my first foot trap. I am hesitant to use this fur for a hat because my husband and I both agreed that we need to wait til later on to start trapping again. It's been so warm here...
Just got our first raccoon of the year after some careful scouting! We noticed some scat that appeared to be raccoon, having some seeds in it. I suggested placing a trap here and we've checked for the past two days. We just found a raccoon in it! Can't wait to get this skinned and tanned...
Thanksgiving was a great day to spend time with our family and enjoy another beautiful day. There is so much to be grateful for EVERY DAY, not just one day out of the year. We gave thanks for many things, including our egg layers, our watch dogs, our house being worked on, and some good squirrel...
