I understand where you are coming from so much with your concern @MiniGoatsRule. If we are being honest, at one point in younger years I was vegetarian for years and vegan for maybe a year itself...I was constantly reaching out to representatives, especially when slaughter houses for equines...
I can't imagine, @goatboy1973 what it's like. Just continue on with the love she shared and keep caring for those precious critters. Continuing to pray for you all and best wishes, God bless.
@secuono - How are the kitties today, that is, if you’ve been able to locate them? The solid black one reminds me so much of the barn cat I had growing up. They’re so cute! I loved seeing the photo of the kitten being introduced to the horse
:love
Just wanted to say praise God today! I’ve been wanting to get my husband the recurve bow he’s talked about for years- a good strong bow capable for big game hunting. I have been unable to get it for him for awhile but planned for it for his birthday next month. I prayed this morning for some...
@Devonviolet - Firstly, good to hear from you! I am so happy to hear that people have really been helping you out with farm care and food. Look at those new chicks you have! Wishing you all the best and like I said I’m glad you have some extra hands there to help. I know it may seem overwhelming...
It's been some time since I've checked in- how is everyone doing? What prayer requests are out there, and do you have any positive praise news?
God's blessing on you all!
I'm late here to this thread but I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your family's loss. What a wonderful woman to have accomplished so much, and I am taking this moment to pray for you all even though it has been some time. May the Lord comfort you in time, and may He help you remember the...
Just got back on after awhile and wanted to say I'M PRAYING FOR Y'ALL! All of the best wishes and God's healing hand on the family. Please do keep us updated on how he is doing. Praying for healing, for loving family to support him, and for care and help at your home to keep up with everything...
The famous humor horse story growing up would have to be about the Quarab mare we had. She had went through bad abuse as a youngster and upon getting her, also severely malnourished. She developed a spoiled personality in time and had a wild can't-touch-me attitude. Don't get me wrong, she was...
@MatthewsHomestead - Very sorry, firstly, to hear of your loss. We've lost horses to colic and it's such a hard thing- no matter the situation or the circumstance, losing an animal friend is hard. But hey, you RESCUED a horse. That deserves credit in itself, for having the heart to give him a...
Not of much help here as I never drove our trailers growing up, but we had a dually Ford they used to haul the 3 horse slant. Don't be scared to buy a truck from an individual, but take someone who knows vehicles to hear it run, test it out.
Beautiful horse but the only way I would think Arabian is seeing a gait. However, it's all about the horse and how much you love them. :D We've had plenty of crosses and I loved them dearly.
@MatthewsHomestead - Years back when we had them, the folks used to sprinkle garlic powder over their grain.

HOWEVER, always consult a vet first for safety. ;)
At the Alabama National Fair grounds (Garrett Coliseum) down in Montgomery, they occasionally have shows. Check their schedule online. I know the actual fair itself in October tends to have alot of shows and I always used to see rabbits\
edit: I saw that you had looked into the fair, but check...
