I try to avoid the vet as much as possible. Besides it being 45+minutes one way I hate trying to schedule a appointment around my work and their hours.

Yeah its oozing, and the smell is not burnt hair or flesh. I've always been told no to ointments because it needs to dry out not stay wet. And it will keep all the nasty stuff in.
My kids were debudded on Wednesday. All looked good until last night at feeding when I got a whiff of something nasty and searched it out. Only her left side is nasty. She is still eating and playing.

Babies are growing and thriving. They've spent the last couple nights outside since it's been above freezing. The brown kids are a week younger than the other 2 but are just as big if not bigger! They've been hitting their moms pretty hard milk wise.
I'm having the same problem. I had 3 boys and 1 girl born and everyone is <2 weeks old and mounting the doeling. I dont remember my pygmy boys being so bad about it.
So I just found out that feed with decoxx shouldn't be fed to goats intended on producing milk for human consumption. So even if I stop feed now I won't be able to use the milk from these does for cheese or drinking milk in the future correct?
I talked to the lady I got my buck from earlier and she does have moonspots in her herd.
