I just came home to my doe who is pregnant, limping! She was out wondering so I am not sure how it happened but checking her over it seems to be a sprain but I fear worse. I see that there is no cut on her leg and though her hove needs a little trim it looks good. She is putting some wait on it...
I think she is about four months too. She is getting bigger by the day. She is acting a little different as well. I don't mind how many as long as it is healthy! I love both bucks and does! ⬅ kid. Lol
All my goats have horns. None are aggressive. They all grow nice on their heads and none have gotten hooked on fences.
I agree it is up to the owner. I would debud any kid that I would not keep unless asked not too.
My girls slam heads at times but nothing more then playing. They always seem...
I think that the suggestion that she is not as far along is right. She is getting bigger by the day. The baby is moving around alot, or maybe babies! Well the tricky girl is being watched! Lol
I am thinking though I see no discharge that she is getting closer. Her sides are bigger even though I swore she would have kidded already. Maybe she wasn't as far along as I thought. My buck lived in with my girls in their heat so I can only assume she played harder to get then my little...
So sorry about your losses! I know that feeling well!
I have a Nigerian/pygmy who looks so skinny just like yours and I have no clue of when she will kid.
Thank you for your thread and sharing both triumph and pain!
My guess is two. She is a beautiful doe! My pygmy only had one and she was half her size. She had a big boy! So that is my logic. Lol good luck and congratulations!
I did notice her belly dropped. This girl has me so confused. Lol I will keep watching and see what happens. I know that I can even feel a baby kick at times so now we just wait. Thank you again for your help!
