I've only had one doe w/ swollen feet, and she had toxemia...ended up having to treat her. I would get a test ran to see if she's getting toxemia, and keep propylene glycol on hand. Good luck!

If you KNOW you have a cocci issue, then yes, start somewhere between 21-30 days of age. We know we do here, so we just treat all kids starting at around 21 days of age.

Neither temp worries me, but they need to eat / drink. Are you offering the same feed / hay they are used to? How far away did they come....was the water hard or soft where they were. I've moved a lot of goats and never had one that wouldn't eat after a few hours.

But *if* the new owners decide they aren't going to transfer them....ever...for whatever reason....then the money you spent registering that animal is wasted.

What breed? I took some rescue goats in and really pumped alfalfa (not pellets, the real stuff) and 1/2 c. calf manna 2x a day to them. They improved pretty quickly, you could tell a big difference in 2 weeks and they improved a lot by 1 month.
