Our vet was out yesterday to trim our pig's feet and to band our little Cecil. Cecil did great: no crying or drama. On the other hand, Patty, our pig, sounded like she was being butchered! I asked about worming Cecil, and he said not until he's six month's old.

Nope, no more animals are coming, and we are following our vet's advice on deworming. Because a majority of the time our weather is dry, we don't have as many parasite issues as other areas. I have kept animals here since 1995 without having a parasite problem.

We just checked Petunia again. The liquid was clear and sticky. It tested about 7.1 on the Maybe Baby test strips which we used with our pregnant mini-horse. I have no idea if these things work with donkeys.

Hello Allee! Just saying hi!. I also live in Chino Valley. My husband and I are working on a little petting zoo with eight goats, 2 mini horses, and a mini (possibly pregnant) donkey.

Well, Petunia's teats have deflated. I was resigned to not having a baby. However, this morning, when my husband was checking her, she was squirting liquid from her teats! What the heck! Also, does anyone know how to get this thread in the correct forum? I'm a techno-tard. :)
