Does the answer to whether or not they stop eating right before birth or not depend on the breed type? Or is it just something that sometimes happens?
Fun to read your comments!
This is kind of late, but I'm a bit curious if you got her to stop trying to leave the fenced areas?
Is she leaving because of being lonely or just exceptionally curious.
And that one picture looks like she's saying, "haha I'm guilty, but try to catch me at it.."
So I kept wondering today if the width of the nesting box has more to do with whether a mother doe will trample accidentally her kits or not, more than anything else? (A similar question had discussed rounded bottoms, but I can't recall asking about width specifically.)
What do you think?
And...
Wow.
Your idea for a rabbit processing class is actually quite good.
You are clever.
Your points are valid also as I think people are interested in the idea of 'skill acquisition'.
I have silver foxes.
Their fur feels like so soft and the most silky thing you've ever touched. Its truly amazing.
However, about the pic...
I'm still a student so don't get mad at me for speaking up.
When I picked up my silver foxes I spent time talking to the seller to learn from them but...
Nice.
I'm a bit curious about your clover experience. How well would something like clover take care of unwanted grass? And would it typically be there all year round, or only certain seasons? (I think I remember hearing it comes back on its own every year replenishing itself though...and that...
I can help you with this a bit!
The easiest way to do it is have your chickens or geese over saturated in the same spot not moving until they literally pick everything clean. This way can take a bit of time but is the least back breaking.
You could even purposely move a roving pen around these...
So I'm a bit confused.
When I was reading about geese, initially a lot of the videos about Toulouse geese seemed to mostly have dewlap types. I had thought all toulouse were dewlap types because of this, with the heavy sagging neck sack flesh whatever.
But then I saw some videos of them...
Oh any information is helpful because you never know when it will link up with other facts and things. And its also neat to hear observations of others, about how their minds work.
Thanks.
Forgot to ask. Do they need to practice it a few times on different days to figure it out?
I also realized there were times when the buck got the back end and front end on the doe mixed up lol. And I'd heard horror stories from others about the doe using such opportunities to eviscerate certain...
Any idea also at how many days the doe will start to look big and show actual nipples for nursing? (With dogs and cats that's what you'd look for, not sure if people look for that in rabbits. But they are mammals.)
Thank you for your comment and advise.
So I put the doe in with the buck. They started racing around.
And then he starts the jackhammer...
But he doesn't fall off. He just stops.
Should I be worried about there being a full mating that's successful if he doesn't fall of?
I'm still somewhat new to rabbits. I kept her in with...
So I was wondering about something...
Supposedly when I watch these Youtube videos about farming and stuff they tend to say its the gander that makes the most noise in a bunch of geese.
This makes me wonder if its possible to kill the noise from a few geese if you only kept the females and no...
