his is my hay feeder, its a pallet that is wired to the chain-link fence at an angle. It holds a lot of hay and works okay as a temporary one until I get one a proper one built. Its on the bottom of the to do list. I have 2 question. I seem to have a quite a bit of hay spillage. I plan to...
I have 6 (3 does & 3 kids) Boer/Kiko cross "brush goats". I'm deciding to either buy buck to kid them out or some sheep. I live in Socal and been having a hard time finding Boer or Kiko bucks that are less than $500. Another problem that I have is I don't have trailer so I need it delivered...
I want to setup a strand of electric fence on a 6 ft tall chanilink. I want the wire to be above the chain-link. Does anyone know of any insulators that hook on poles that are vertical? I've tried using ones for horizontal but the wire just slips out.
No i don't plan to the keep the kids ( 2 wethers and a doe) so at the end I will be left with 4 goats ( 3 does and a buck). The premier one netting stops flush at the 6 ft chain-link.
I can't night pen my goats because I cant open let them out in the morning reliably. Is there any way to do this automatically like a chicken coop automatic door? Or have a lng chute of electrical fencing with some turns so the goats become precondition to the route but will confuse the coyote.
I live in SoCal and I’m looking for a good breeding Boer buck for my does. I’ve been looking at Craigslist and once and a while I see one. Is there any other way to buy livestock? There is only one auction per year here.
