DH got home at 7 this morning from unloading 22 pallets of drinking water donated to our town by Wal Mart. I think it really dawns on you that you have a true emergency when Wal Mart's donating water... Anyway, the greenhouse has the only forklift around here so he was delegated as forklift...

We've had the worst flooding here that anyone can remember in years (of course, along with the hottest, driest summer and the coldest snowiest winter and the stormiest spring since we moved here)...
And now, amidst all this flooding, we have NO CITY WATER.

Scarlett got a NASTY uterine infection this year after her first ever triplet litter which required me going in up to my shoulder to pull them. NASTY one...
Hopefully she'll be ok...I think I'd choose a stronger antibiotic though. :fl
Dulce is NEVER gonna kid :P She's been building her udder forever, and it's getting some SIZE to it. We're taking her to a show this weekend, hopefully she doesn't decide Mother's Day is THE day.

I also apparently have the quiet variety of Nubians...:P Thank goodness for that. My Nigis are only loud at feeding time, but I have a couple Nigis that have this maaaa that makes your ears ring it's so loud and obnoxious...
