Thank you!
yes he really is😍
I’m very very excited about this boy and what he’ll bring to my herd!
as soon as I brought him in the pen he promptly bred Adeline, my other moonspotted gal who was in raging heat😆
Safe to say I’m wayyyy more than excited for this pairing.
I picked up a registered Nubian starter herd from a (not-so) local breeder who can no longer keep them. I’m very very very excited abt these goats, I’ll post pics of them and their papers tomorrow
Gracie was moved back today, everyone was excited to see each other…Dakota has started her attitude and weight loss journey, here’s the first pic of her, hopefully we can make her a little less flabby😫😅…
Im not joking Dakota has gotten so fat on grass alone her saddle no longer fits🤦🏽♀️. She gains it faster than i can ride it off😭 So yep shes coming back to the house where she'll be much more accessible
Gracie the mare's leg is looking so much better I believe I'll have her back out to pasture by friday. Dakota will then come back to the house for a diet and some much-needed, distraction free, one-on-one training and riding.
I do still have them, all are doing well except the newest mare, Gracie. She got her leg caught in the barb wire and had a serious injury on her back hock and below her hock. She’s healing tho so that’s good, I panicked at first but was told by several ppl who’s horses has had had much worse...
YALL oh my gosh I am so insanely pleased with my puppy. We introduced her to the goats this morning to test her recall and focus, I sent her after the goats and let her get abt 50yds away before saying “Aspen HEEL” she was running full speed but she turned on a dime, made a beeline for me...
I would love to see full/empty udder pics on iris if you have any!
If these were my girls I would purchase a buck with:
1. Top of my list of requirements would definitely be a level rump (an area all three gals need work in)
2.Very good rear leg angulation
3. A good brisket
4. A nice, wide buck
