I use to house my chickens ... I was the owner of sassy silkies..but I no longer breed and raise the silkie chickens...We plan on breeding the goats so there will always be goats in there for many years to come. The person we are purchasing them from will be breeding them for us in december...
Its an old print master program that I purchased like 10 years ago. I cant believe it still works. LOL Its good for makeing drawings and signature tags.
I keep going back and forth on the fence...i want the goat fence but its so much more expensive but it may be worth the added expense. Its either the goat fence or the field fence. I cant decide.
I am hopeing this will be a big enough area for my 2 nigerian dwarf girls...I was going to go bigger but decided a the last minute not to. I can pull the middle fence post in the back and extend the area another 30 ft. back or will this be enough? What do you all think? :/
Sorry had to fix...
I read bout that AFTER I had done mine. I sent hubby in for the stuff and he got the kind in the yellow bag. I didnt even know about the quick set stuff or I would have use it. It looked MUCH easier.
I thought all concrete was the same...I bought quickcrete at lowes and filled my post holes with it surrounding my wooden posts and it didnt harden? Well it did get hard but its not solid. It can just break apart and if you step on a chunk of it it just crumbles and turns to dust???? I mixed...
I have a TON of thoes rubber bowels from my chickens!!! YIPPEE I can just wash them out real good and re use them. I was thinking about selling them because I JUST bought them and then decided to get rid of most of my birds, but now that I know I can use them for the goats I will hold on to...
OMG thoes are the sweetist pics ever! she is so pretty and looks to be getting into everything like a healthy little girl should. LOVE that pic of her on her mom! Thanks so much for shareing these!
We made pretty good progress today. Got all the wooden fence posts in and cemented. Just need to put the braceing on and mark the lines for the T posts that will go inbetween and we will be ready for the fence. :D
sorry doubled up the last pic so I took the extra one off. ;)
I am thinking on what to use for feeding my goats.. We will have just 2 nigerian dwarf girls. I cant find much online so I was wonderring what you all use. (pics would be great!) Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D
the floor is pressure treated lumber planks (an old deck) with painted wooden sideing pannels (like t 1-11) on top of the treated decking boards. Its raised off the ground about 1 foot. This building was used for other uses before we decided to use it for the goats...I hope it will work.
I'm jealous!!! I just know I'm going to screw mine up! Mine will by WAY smaller and only like 1 roll of fence but I just know its going to be a mess....I can never do things the way they should be no matter how hard I try.
