well today i bred the dutch doe to the dutch buck. cleaned out the cage as they went at it and let the kits pig out as they wished on some pellets and a carrot peice (which they only hate half of anyhow). i wanted to make sure that if anything went wrong i could get an opinion on what it was so...

i *had* planned to breed them to someone close-by. litterally i...
i dont have rabbits yet. but from what i have read thus far is that in a colony setting does will wean at 4 or 5 weeks. what i will likely be doing when i get my own rabbits (i will have a sort of colony set up but with a few twists) is to pull out and sell/butcher the biggest of the litter...

hello :D
i found a somewhat close to me person that may have some san juan rabbits for sale. i am wanting rabbits for meat and to tan their hides. for myself and family mostly. maybe to sell some for meat or a few as pets. what do you all think?
i just found this not too long ago: http://www.ssrsi.org/Onsite/bunny.htm
i am going to try it with a groundhog hide. :P then i have a nice big buck hide that i'd love to do.
hoping i can do lots of animal hides this way. especially rabbits once i get into them.
good luck!
