Hey all :frow
My horse, Moon, got her leg caught in the fence, and ripped it open yesterday and had to be taken to the vet. Here, I was thinking I could post pictures and updates every once in a while, so we could see her progress.
I am now giving her antibiotics and a painkiller/swelling thing...
And if people try and tell me that I could’ve done more, I’m leaving, I did all I could.
Im devastated by his death, and not just because it’s money lost. Because he was a life that should’ve lived much longer.
Rest In Peace little guy.
Thanks for your reply. We had him in the house with the floor heat, heater and blow dryer while rubbing him, and we tried tube feeding him. But he passed away within half an hour. I think we did all we could’ve for him, since he wasn’t really responsive at all.
thanks
Newborn calf born maybe around ten this morning. It was raining so maybe he’s just too chilled we have him in house with heaters and blow dryer and rubbing him lots. We’re tubing him now as he won’t suck plz help I don’t know how much longer he has. Anything we can do to help him respond
I think she's 17. And I know that's kinda old, but I've known her for a while and she's still having healthy foals with no issues. She is not broke to ride, but I have other riding horses. She's really polite and is nice with ground work, and I might train her to do liberty work. I would...
I kinda feel like I should wait, because I’m just working on building up my cattle herd, and haven’t gotten money for calves yet. But then again, this mare is the one.
Yeah, to me it’s not about the money, more the experience, because in the future I would kinda like to look into being an equine reproduction technician.
I can do the basic training like halter breaking, ground work, lifting feet etc. I just wouldn’t feel like I should saddle break it for someone else to ride as I’ve had no experience with that.
That just makes me so sad 😭
