I have used a really narrow rake, like kid size and the kind of dust pan they sell that has the stick on it to keep you from having to bend over. works pretty well...
You are probably better off. The seller doesn't sound trustworthy. When I sell a goat I want people to come see them, pet them, see how they are with people and other animals. BTW I'd of had him gelded straight away. JMHO
Mine always get mouthy if the room service is not up to standards. Like hay not full enough, water dirty, minerals empty, feeding time, or gate accidentally shut. When I hear them I start doing inventory.
I have Nigerians and they are quiet most of the time. Unless it is close to feeding time and then they tend to remind me that it's time to feed. And yes when a baby's mom wanders off they do trumpet but even lasts not loud. None is obnoxious. Oh and we do have the bucks they snort and sneeze a...
Thanks for the welcome. She also had no detectable entry point. Vet couldn't find it. Thank goodness she is already sold (at a discount), and with a great 4H home. I'm glad I took her to the vet it was a great learning experience for me.
