We are going to reburn him.
Those of you who have done this before - would it be easier to put in on the stand and lock him in or wrap him up in something? Or use the stand AND hold his body down? I would hate to burn his face or an eye or something.
After some tough decisions, we've decided to let Alexis go to a new home. She is getting bullied bad by our dominant doe and since Alexis is a very quiet, submissive doe, she is not getting enough grains at feeding time and is loosing weight. Alexis is 100% fullblood and will come with IBGA...
He's was a bottle kid, so he is super easy to handle, but he is getting big so I will most likely need somebody to help me hold him down. So, just to get more opinions - what to the rest of you think about reburning him?
Pee Dee, our 3 month old disbudded Nubian buckling, has scurs. I know he is going to have at least a scur on one side and maybe on the other. Right now the biggest scur is about 1/4" big and about the size of a pencil in diameter. Is there an option to remove the scur safely on him while it is...

I placed a deposit on a couple of LaMancha doelings. This one was born on Monday, April 16th. She's pretty, but an odd color. What would you call it? Dam is solid white, sire is black with a white belly band.
Well... we have 2 dairy "teenagers" that are disbudded. Then, we were able to get preemie twin doelings. By the time I realized they were not disbudded, it was too late. So, those 2 are going to be horned. :/ But, that's ok... I don't plan on showing goats anytime soon anyways. They are just my...
He'll look really good pulling a goat cart at a parade or something. Beautiful! That's the color pattern I'm looking for in a Nubian doeling and I can't seem to find around here.
I'm going to go against the grain here. I bought a 15 day old doeling that nursed off her mother exclusively until she came here. She was the easiest to get to transition to a bottle than any I have bottle raised.
