My cold is almost over. Hurrah! Kid 3 is coming back for the weekend. Guest child is happy with us... Bride-to-be is happy with us... Everything is going well. We do need to do a better job with cleaning... we cleaned a BUNCH, but kid 3's asthma does still kick up when he comes home...

One son is already gone..... More snow coming down...

After 2 kinds of broth.... I was handed a rum ball and some herbal "you have a cold" tea..... The rum ball.... yum! But, I do NOT think it is flammable!

I have gotten sick! Luckily, I am the only one. I went back to bed this morning. I missed the "get the tree all together" festivities. I am now upright... I shall see if this broth helps me.

And... the tiny woman also loves our church... As I am sure I already said... she wants to get married here, in that church. I have spread sheets for all wedding items... hopefully I haven't forgotten anything. The wedding will need to be planned while they are both here. Crazy cleaning...

As to frostbite.... I don't think it is a risk at all. With leghorns, huge single combs... they did NOT get frostbite, even with temps going into the negatives. Along the fold line they got some sores that healed just fine. It was my chickens with single combs and the thin edges that stuck...

Operation is still to be seen... the bone growth isn't getting any smaller. But... swelling is down enough, that the bone is no longer pressing down on the muscle, and that means that there is only nominal pain from that. (And also that the muscle tear is healing) However... the arm does...

Snow storm today. I actually got some cleaning done... about time. Clearly, shoulder is finally getting better.

Howdy all. Advent season... so more church stuff. House is starting to look better... but now cleaning is slower since kids really need to get more school done before Christmas. I don't know how everything is ever supposed to be done... we never have enough hours in the day.
