It’s a possibility he was a bottle baby most bottle babies that weren’t raised around other goats act like that, they weren’t trained by the herd how to behave. Or if he was sold young and kept by himself and treated like a pet it could also cause that type of behavior I believe.
I had a buck...
Thank you, We have owned goats for 13 years now we started out with some show goats then decided to breed goats and switched from Boer to Kiko we have had 5 of our Does kid so far I’m excited for the rest to follow suit. Good luck on your goating journey and remember it’s full of ups and downs.
Thanks, these are not our first goats just our first registered goats (sorry if my post was confusing). I really love goats they are awesome, we have some Boers but have to worm them a lot so we are switching over to kikos because of their more worm tolerance.
Hope this is the right place to put this, But i"m so excited we Recently got some Kiko goats, and are trying to start a registered heard.

Wow, lol that is kind of a hard question to answer but, My oldest is saying she wants to use him as a show pig for FFA . After that i don't know.... i would really would not have the heart to eat him myself but we can't keep him, we sell butcher pigs to several ppl and he might end up that way...
i tried with a bowl and he just spilled and blew bubbles in it and got i up his nose.
Yep, i know about the heat lamp we have been keeping him i our bathtub don't think he would get any drafts but idk.
we named him uno, because he is by himself.
I have a bottle baby right now, and i have had one before that didn't do so well it was a runt though and it died after about two weeks. I think it it might have aspirated some milk but idk. This one is an orphan his moma died due to complications with the birth. I'm worried about him i hope...
