Craiglsit isn't mail order as far as I know I don't think you could ship a rabbit in the mail. The impression I got from their post was they were looking to adopt someone pet rabbit that they no longer wanted. With craiglist you would have to go and meet that person and where it lives.

Check craiglist I see free or bunnies for sale all the time on there. Most that aere get rid of them only charge $10.00

Well I sound like a 5 dollar used dog crate and some wire is a good idea for a cheap rabbit cage.

I can get a dog crate for cheap. I was thinking about put 1 x 1/2 in wire on the bottom and use it for a meat rabbit cage. Let me know if this is a good idea or a bad idea.

I know there always a debt about keeping chickens and game birds next to each other. What diseases can they catch from each other. the other debt I also see is on the ground or on the wire. I imagine if you moved them around to a clean area it would work out just fine but I could be wrong.

Is it OK to house these two animals next to each other. I was think about building house that had the rabbits on one side and the quail on the other. Please let me know if this a good idea. It would be open to the air and not contain.

I put them on a couple of saw horses with a pallet on top of them. Then cages on ther for now.The doors are on top then I put a tarp over top of the cages covering the doors with a 2x4 on top of the tarp just to make sure the tarp doesn't blow away. Hopefully next week I can build something...

Sound like I'll just have to take my chances. I think I'll put a solar power light out there it might deter at least the wild ones, probably not the neighorhood dogs.

I made some metal cages out of 1/2 by 1 for the bottom and 1 x 1 for the top and sides. My question is will they be predator proof. A neighorbor just told me their son seen a coyote. Usaully if there one one there is a pack of them. I just got the rabbits and I don't want to loose them this...

I wasn't looking to make it a business venture, I figured instead of throwing the pelts out I could make couple buck of them. Sort of a win win I get meat, someone get fur pelts. I make a couple of bucks.

Cool, I guess my next question would be does anyone know where or how I would sell the pelts, I live in Upstart new york, so if someone or place is located around there would be great.

I seen some for sale on craigslist. I know their pelts are use for fur coats. I was wondering how they are for meat purposes. Any input would be helpful.
