Our ewe's just had lambs and I know they're mixes with possible Dorset in them. I was hoping some of you sheep lovers could give me some ideas?
The black sheep below is Cleo, mama of twins.
when we called the vet, he had died already a couple minutes before... we never got the full diagnoses as we just wrapped him up and said our goodbyes. the vet thinks it was a bladder rupture and/or internal bleeding.
Another lamb born, but in critical condition. he's made it the first 24 hours but we're not sure he's got left. He's wheezing and his belly is swollen. (this damn ram!)

Just had our first born during this snow storm last night! We didnt even know this ewe was pregnant! No udder development, no vulva swelling, no hollowing! If I didnt witness her water break, I wouldve never known. To add, the baby was too big to come out on his own and had one leg stretched...

I currently own a mastiff, chickens, a potbellied pig, and some sheep who are pregnant and actually due soon! (The ultrasound said March but I think mamas are almost ready to burst this week!)
