    I also have the Ball water bath canner. Soooo handy and heats up the water very quickly!! I do use the Nesco electric pressure canner for protein.

    I thought of you this morning, Bay. When you had to say goodbye to BJ over the phone. Sob. I called Mother's live in boyfriend and said goodbye to him. He's only 94 but now in hospice care at the place where they live. I said I'd see him in heaven and he said he'll be looking for me. Sob.

    I have my Mother's old Presto; I bought a used All American a few years ago; I bought a new Nesco electric canner. I'm finding I use the Nesco alot.

    I'm a Master Food Preserver. I took the long difficult classes, two all day hands on events and final exam last winter. I passed! Ask me anything, but given my education about 100 years ago (Masters in Food Science/Microbiology), I'm not really interested in rebel canning.
