Thank You guys so much. And yes...it is truly paradise. I have always loved animals and nature... I feel very fortunate to live in such a safe place too. I see animals every day that I had never seen outside a zoo before.... Like deer, gorgeous birds, eagles, etc... It has made me realize even...
It is @Mini Horses :) it was hard to get use to it at first, believe it or not. I was used to having a store close by, many family reunions and lots of friends... But it is all a process and I have learned to focus on the positives and embrace it all. :)
I appreciate you a lot @Sheepshape :) I now understand. Everyone has been giving me experienced suggestions and I now fully understand what needs to be done... What is the max I can wait to take him out doors...more or less?
@Baymule I don't want to look like a show off... Or anything like it. This ranch is my husband's ... We have been married for a year and 8 months and it is just starting to feel like home. He was born and raised here. It is without a doubt the most magical place I've ever seen. My in-laws raise...
Yes. That is exactly what I will do. I'll enjoy Dingo-Dan and start preparing his future home...and look in to who will be his friend. For now Corona, my dog has been great with him. I don't leave them out alone...but Corona has been very motherly to him. They chase each other and play. I have...
This is very good information! Thank you so much... I don't have chickens hahaha...
Thing is...I am new to this ranch life... I live in my hubby's ranch...he was born and raised here... But they don't do much farming especially now. Just with the cows... But I have been here only 1 yr 8 months...
This is a good idea. I truly appreciate your help. I hope I'm not coming off as difficult... I'm just really trying to understand and have no history with anything other than dogs and cats. I appreciate it. ;)
I totally understand what you mean @Latestarter I know it seems like I want a teddy bear or something... It's not that. It is I want him to be safe...I have obviously grown to love the little guy. I never intended him to really be in the house all his life... I mean now since he is so little I...
Well I live in a 360 acre ranch... Our house is surrounded by woods/nature... Filled with deer and wild animals.... I'm not very sure exactly what is out there ...especially at night...buy I've heart coyotes howling. It freaked me out to think he could be a midnight treat hahahaha... I guess...
Thank you very much! I appreciate your help. I was thinking of taking him outside...just thought he could sleep in the house hahaha... But I have one more concern...predators...how do you keep those away?!
I have a vet near by who is livestock vet. He is awesome...we will be taking Dingo there.
So. My hubby and I got a St. Croix lamb 2 weeks ago. He was only 7 hr old. The reason we did was his mom did not accept him, and wouldn't let him eat. The farmer told my husband and I he wouldn't have time to bottle feed him... So we took the lamb. My husband and I live in a pretty big ranch but...
Hahaha well I feel bad that he can't stay in the house... Hahaha... I knew he would get big. But it's ok... We could keep him with adult diapers hahaha...but if it is a no go...then I guess I won't be selfish. I just wanted him to feel loved. @Goat Whisperer are your goats outside now?
Oh man... I will have to talk to my hubs about getting him a companion later on when we can leave him outside... Like I mentioned we took him 'cus if we didn't he would die. But I will have to see about that. He is 2 weeks old in 2 days. So he is pretty small. We have been using diapers, so it...

This is my baby, Corona and my hubby, Shane. As you may notice my hubby drew eyebrows on Corona hahahaha... They made her look soooo funny.
That day it had snowed, and we had been having a lot of fun... It was my first experience with snow and also Corona's. Here my hubby was...
