We use a forked stick to pin the rabbit's neck to the ground and use a .22 short shot deringer to the back of the head, just below the ears. Shoot forward towards the middle of the eyes. Quick, easy, no do-overs.

My hubby hunts on a dairy farm property and the farmer offered to sell him some holstein males next spring for $45 each. He says that the beef is good but I will have to bottle feed them. Anyone do this? Did it work out for you or is it too much trouble?

Does anyone use a horse barn/run-in shed type structure for their goats? I am thinking of getting 4-6 nigis and I was looking at a 12x24 with one side open for the goats that I could build a gate on to close them in at night and the other side closed off with a door for a milk room/feed storage...

Well, our original plan was to use the no climb horse field fencing with the 2x4 spacing and run a strand of electric around the middle to try to keep them from rubbing it.....then BIL threw a hissy fit and called daddy. He is making my life miserable.....say a prayer for me.
