I don't think that's an option, it's just that the permissions for add-ons didn't carry over so they have to be reconfigured. Like who can view the articles, who can create articles, etc.

There is a valid SSL certificate set up on this site. You just need to 301 redirect all traffic through HTTPS and enable the image and link proxy to eliminate mixed content warnings. The same goes for theeasygarden.com and sufficientself.com
