We might be opening BYC very soon.

I don't think that's an option, it's just that the permissions for add-ons didn't carry over so they have to be reconfigured. Like who can view the articles, who can create articles, etc.

Right now we're running the script that converts the database to a format which allows for unicode emojis, like these 😃🐔 Once that completes, we'll be able to open the site. We'll still be configuring some things when we first open the site, so there will still be some dust in the air.

No, it dosen't force you to log back in so you can force HTTPS without making people log back in. It is looking like the SSL is issued to backyardcows.com, not backyardherds.com so eneble autossl for this domain if you haven't.

There is a valid SSL certificate set up on this site. You just need to 301 redirect all traffic through HTTPS and enable the image and link proxy to eliminate mixed content warnings. The same goes for theeasygarden.com and sufficientself.com
