Since you need to keep him intact, and baby goats are in your future plans, you may as well go ahead and make separate pens now and buy more goats to keep them company in their separate pens. Multiple pens and moltiple goats are inevitable.

This is a good point. I occasionally make something fall out onto the concrete floor when I’m rummaging around in my freezer. My plastic containers usually survive but occasionally one will crack or chip a corner off. I would hate to have glass shatter all over. 🤔
