Hi y'all!! I've been raising buns for 15 years and keep them outside I currently have lionheads but I'm having trouble with them pooping on their wooden surface in the back of their pen it doesn't matter how often I clean ( however I do a thorough clean weekly and spot cleaning daily) they...
Hi y'all!
So I've been raising rabbits for 15 years (minirex) and they were so easy to care for I have unlimited hay and pretty much food and everything was great I never had any issues. This year I decided to start raising lionheads and oh boy I'm going through trouble! I have 3 juniors and a...
That I can agree with u on! lol I hate not knowing I think y take a rabbit to the vet when it could be treated at home but we don't know what it is for sure
Every doe is an individual some are so compulsive to nest immediately when the nestbox in put in and some couldn't care less until they realize they have to. I almost never see fur being pulled until they are ready to have them. It's so hard to be patient and wait :)
Like I said everyone has their own opinions and u bad mouthing me isn't going to change mine it just shows bad character I couldn't see the eye so I don't know I've been raising rabbits among other animals for 15 years and have never had an issue medicating or treating any animal. I don't...
I would take a good look at what pellets you are feeding enteroexemia due to ingredients in their feed could be it. Next time u find diarrhea pull their pellets and give a big handful of hay to calm their gut down for a day or so then give it back they don't seem to be agreeing with the food...
That's totally understandable! I feel the same way I'm a fixer not a killer, unless we're hunting then that's a different story. Your not doing anything wrong! Just Mother Nature keeping the rabbit population down. I get nervous when it comes to litters and one looking off that did sound...
Whoa!
1. I missed they were 7 weeks old all I saw was baby rabbit with eye infection
2. this page is supposed to help people with different peoples opinions not jump on them. If someone doesn't want to take my advice then no biggy it won't hurt my feelings
this is just what I would do...
Just want to clarify I have bred black and orange tris for years and have gotten perfectly healthy Charlie's and harlis so don't let that discourage you with breeding brokens! It's merely something that has been known to happen more with them kind of like seizures and BEW/Vienna rabbits
Lol!!! Mine is like that pregnant or not I bought her and got her bred so I thought maybe this is how you are when your bred but now her babies are 3 weeks and she's still a witch!
Hi I cannot make a totally accurate assumption without seeing pedigrees but I've raised minirex for 15 years so i can give what assumption I believe will happen. You will definitely get broken from Elsa depending on what else she carries as for your other doe Anna you will probably get broken...
I've had someone say the same thing tho however I have to admit it sounds alittle far fetched I always believed the daughter who was 12 at the time roughly put the rabbits in together to breed them and never told her mom (who believed it was an accident) but that's just me
Hi! I raise lionheads and I can say that there is a good chance these guys carry lionhead, when someone crosses a lionhead to another breed it makes the mane basicly lesser and lesser with every cross breeding. People think if I have a fluffy lionhead and breed it to say a Rex that I will get...
