Opinions on having a rabbit rescue??

Also, you have to make sure they are all spayed and neutered, because if not then you will be contributing to the problem instead of helping. I also agree about the predators, how will you keep them safe?

To get goats or not to get goats?

Thank you for all the replies everyone. Food is really expensive here, so I think we would be saving some money. I told DH that we need to calculate how much milk, cheese, buttermilk, sour cream, etc we buy each month, and compare that to how much feeding goats would be. I still think they...

A Couple Questions About My Bunny Set Up

Personally I would think she needs a larger cage, but I always give my animals the largest cage I can. I used to have indoor rabbits, and the way I potty trained mine was to find out where THEY wanted to "go" and then I put a large flat trashbag down with a little newspaper on top. They all took...

To get goats or not to get goats?

They would have a 25' x 30' chain link enclosed pen 5' high, with a 10' x 12' "coop" with straw to go into at night. We don't have any close neighbors, and tons of hills with weeds, but not much grass. I have done some reading and research, but have never had one, so am still unsure. I want them...

To get goats or not to get goats?

Bf and I have been toying with the idea of getting 2 bred does for milk and babies. As of right now I say yes and he says no. Here are the arguments; 1. Feed- he says we have no money for feed. I say we are feeding the other animals just fine, plus my financial aid will be here soon, plus I am...
