    Untrained leash goats

We've enlarged their pen so they have more room and graze the weeds. Overnight safety because of coyotes. The goats care sisters. This evening went better. Zeva went right in to eat grain. But Abby stayed out. My hubby closed the door and after she cried a bit, in she came when he opened the...

    Untrained leash goats

Getting the goats in the barn/shed last night was not easy. Took us 30 minutes. One would go in and then go out. Grain wasn't that fascinating, I guess. Hope tonight goes better. Harness is our next idea.

    Untrained leash goats

Thank you for your suggestion. Today is the day we transfer our goats to their new pen and barn. Praying all goes well. Now I have a lot of room to create some fun play structures. I will post a photo in a couple of days. 😃

    Untrained leash goats

My husband and I are expanding our goat's pen and swapping out a old shed for a barn. The issue is how to coax our 2 Nubian/ Spanish breed goats (2 years old) into the new barn. They usually follow us but can be stubborn and choose not to. They've never been on a leash but we bought collars...

Anyway, my spouse and I had a basic trough for our goats outside their pen with no cover and either birds would poop...

    Transporting goats

We need to take our 2 ten months old goats to our Vet to show us the proper way to trim their hooves. The only vehicles we have are a Honda CR-V and a GMC Canyon short bed pickup with a scooter attachment. We don't have a camper shell. Any idea of how to load our goats? Each vehicle is not able...

    Screws poking out of shed

We attached a grain feeder inside our goats shed. But unfortunately the screws are sticking out on the outside. So far, the goats aren't bothered by it but it worries me! I tried covering it up with duck tape. They eventually chewed it off. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you! 😊

Hi! 😀 I ran across this site in Pinterest. My hubby and I live in a rural area 1.5 acres. Last June we bought our 2 first goats. They are Spanish/Nubian breeds. Abby and Zeva, from the long going NCIS tv show. It's been very educational learning all about owning goats. Though I never thought I...
