This is totally terminal. The siremax people market all the ewe lambs except for the replacements. These are are run through the EBV program. After talking to John Essame, the ewes are still good mothers, just really breeding for the ram sale. Its based on performance. Chad

Hello, A finn cross is an excellent ewe. I am going to cross finn ewes with my Dorset ram. I have also bought Ile De France semen, I'm going to cross this with finn and Dorset. You get the excellent hybred vigor and the milking and still stay docile like the finn.

Over the weekend a friend and myself purchased a small flock of 12 pure Finnsheep. We don't have a pure ram, but we can cross to the Dorset and the Ile De France.

How long did your friend have the Ile De France Flock. Was it a pure Ile De France flock or was it cross bred.

What do you put in the garlic. How much garlic and how much ACV. Do you drench the sheep with this, or add to the water. Water are the benefits of adding garlic and ACV to water. I have homing pigeons and the garlic and ACV, it does wonders. Chad Gawarecki

Thanks, Extruded are excellent for almost everything, horses, and chickens love them. My pigeons will eat them but don't like them as much as all the others do. Thanks Chad

It is 2/3s oats and 1/3 cracked corn. A pellet is added that I can use for my horses as well. I mix 300 pounds of this mix to 200 lbs of rolled beet pulp. It comes to about 12 to 14 percent.

Hello, My question is, feeding extruded soybeans to sheep. Is it good for them. I will feed a mixture of oats, cracked corn and rolled beet pulp. I would like to add extruded soybeans as a supplement to growing lambs. They will be feed grass hay as well
