im seeing 4 hourly on some sites and 8 hourly on others, the co-op says their bags of nurse all and sow milk replacer say 8 hours but i wont be feeding replacer...
just trying to figure out how often before i go hauling them out of there.
u might alsowant to lookto kune kune pigs or AHGs if you just looking for a "pet" their smaller size means there cheaper to feed, esier to handle and both breeds are easy on pasture, the kune especially where as pbs can be srous rooters!
i think alot of folks also forget tht breed plays a prt...Comercial meat breeds have been bred for one thing, to grow big, fast...
like with ANY othe rbreeding practice, when you favor one specific trait you often loose others...
so many of these comercial breeds are bred with absolulty NO goals...

so if you have any local flea markets and livestock auctions, theres usually always used rabbit equiptment going plenty of wire cages there, ust be sure to sanitize them prior to use
