Thank you guys, it is very heartbreaking! I bought her as a very prized show doe for some good money, the part that is so puzzling is that the breeder isn't having any problems with her dam or aunts or anything! Would you guys go back to the breeder at this point? Attached is a pic of the doe. :'(

I have an excellent purebred registered doe from very good bloodlines... I've bred her the last two years, to two different bucks. Problem is is that a lot of her babies are coming out with genetic deformations and I don't know why... First kidding was two doelings, which we kept and are now...

Actually I've never even thought of that for this particular problem. Would that be something he takes orally, or like a liniment/ spray on? Do you know of any good ones?

I think lamb is "ok", my boyfriend hates it. Never had it once that he liked it. We sold our flock of blackbellies because goat tastes much better. Here we could only sell them for between $50 and $75 per sheep, so it depends on your market in your area. Here it's cheaper for me to buy one off...

Do I need insulators to keep the wire off of the t-posts?

I like the one you posted, just not sure how it works with batteries..? Is it like a dep cycle or car battery you just change out every now and then? If I didn't want to have to worry about batteries, would something like this work...
