Excellent advice everybody. Thank you. This gives me a lot to think about. I like the idea of getting a registered pair of Large Blacks, and then still getting some great cross bred piggies from my RW. Any more ideas?

I guess I just don't understand if there is any value in breeding a pure bred hog if the sow is not registered. I am guessing that if someone wants a pure-bred hog, they would want it registered, which my piglets of course wouldn't be. Or maybe people don't care, if they are just wanting pork...
