    Baymule’s Journal

Supposed to get us in a few hours. Looking at radar it kinda looks like it could stay north of us. I can do without the storm - but I'd welcome some more rain.

    🐝💗Our Backyard Beekeeping Journey!💗🐝

No idea, but they are pretty well behaved. And because they are away from cars and driveways they don't really make a mess. Besides - the chickens eat everyone that drops and I've even caught them jumping up for ones on low hanging branches, lol.

    🐝💗Our Backyard Beekeeping Journey!💗🐝

I love Mulberries! I have a couple in the backyard. Chickens love them too and would gather 'round when I picked - knowing I'd drop some. I planted 3 out by the pond that I'll also share with the wild birds.

    Feeding my pregnant ewes

I'm having a mathing problem here, lol. Gestation period for sheep is 5 months. If you just got them and they are already bred, you should have babies before April/May.

Equipment & Supplies – What Can’t You Farm Without?

Trailers and tractors here too. My tractor is a T-60 New Holland - love it! No idea how many HP it is. But, I can move round bales with it or anything else I've ever needed to do. It's the only thing on this place that never says "no." A garage-based air compressor and a portable one. A...

    Mini mule

You've been received stellar advice above! If you start implementing their ideas you'll likely have made great progress by the time the vet gets there. As someone who has worked with a veterinarian in the past, I've gotta tell you that pulling up to a farm and being expected to work on an...

    Goat Feeding Time

A strict schedule....ummmm - I try, lol. Schedules around here are a goal to strive for and rarely achieved. I can say that I feed morning and evening and that's about as close as I get. Hectic is an understatement. I hang feeders on a stock panel and most of the goats must stick their...

    Baymule’s Journal

My goats will strip all the leaves, and usually eat the softer tips of blackberry canes, but not the woody stuff. Can't say I blame them there!
