2 month old with diarrhea and wobbly.

I fed him 1/2 of a cup of grain for the first time and he didn't handle it to well, he has diarrhea and is wobbly when he walks. It's also 90 degrees here so that might have something to do with it?


What do I do?

Hopefully someone with more experience will come along soon, but I would do baking soda and electrolytes while I was waiting!

I would give Penn G( Progain G) shots
take his temp. If it is above 104 he has a bacterial infection.

give some pepto bismo

consider treating for coccidiosis,
consider treating for enterotoxemia. C&D antitoxin, Penn G orally, pepto bismo, baking soda

B complex shots

Spectam Scour Gard for pigs works well to slow down the runny poop,

consider taking a fecal into the vet, but I would treat right away.

This would be my first thought and what I would treat for ASAP. Make sure you get the antitoxin and not the vaccine.
