Caught most of it while I was driving (then a barrage of phone calls messed up the play back).
Yeah and woah about the big Brown Snake. I guess it's all in what you get used to - but I still drop everything to take care of rattle snakes here. And her dog was playing with the snake's tail --YYYYEEEEEEEEEKKKK. Glad it all worked out for sure.

G'day folks, so, Sage and I were chatting on Messanger today and you can lock it in your diary for the 20 th Nov.( not sure your time ,so please check) 10 am AEDT. We were also chatting about shearing sheep that shed but need to be cleaned up mainly along the backline. (Maybe Sage can post if I fail)..... I was also suggesting nthat when you clean shear a meat breed doesnt the animal automaticly divert engery to puting wool back? I have blade shorn all my ewes the year (over the last week or so) .I had purchased a set of blades from a chap in NZ that have been modified from the standard ones. This is my first attempt and so the result does not look two "flash" at the minute ,but like they say." it's only a week between a good and a bad haircut". Once the tip starts to dis-colour I think it will be OK.... If you know the link for the radio program ,have a listen to last mondays program with Jillian, it's gold...the others won't load HELP Sage!......T.O.R.

G'day folks, thoght I would post this up for the group.

Hi, seeing it is cold and damp I thought it might be worthwhile posting an update on The Creek restoration....For long time members you will be aware that since 2008 I have had a project restoring the headwaters of Durrn Durra Creek ,which rises on my farm. Yesterday I took series of photos and have added some comments......The first is at the underground weir, which is still full and there is a slight discharge into the creek proper.
2nd. Is the "calming pool" behind the weir proper. It's worth nothing the level of hydration in the area above the creek proper.
3rd. This is about 100 mts upstream of the weir,where the moisture profile is still 100%.
4th. 200 mts upstream and water is still flowing on the surface as well as through the profile.
The recent fall of rain will not recharge the catchment but will be enough to get the pasture away...T.O.R

Aw rats, turned the clocks back yesterday but forgot to change the time on my Monday evening alarm that alerts me in time to tune in. So of course my reminder came too late. I’ll have to listen to it tomorrow. But at least now I should be on the right time schedule for the rest of the winter.
