Activated Charcoal/Water Dosage Amounts?

Does anyone know the exact dosage when mixing activated charcoal and water? How much charcoal is needed and how much water is needed? I read posts that say to give charcoal drench but I can't find 1 post that gives the exact amount to give. How would you know if you're giving enough charcoal?
