Yes, his aggressive behavior will be passed down..... I wouldn't breed him to anything!

IMHO You should send him to freezer camp. Don't resell him, he sounds to dangerous.

Disposition can be inherited and I have seen it in our goats--my sweetest doe has the sweetest kids and my feisty girl has kids that are full of spunk.

Get rid of him--BBQ!!

The bad thing is he is reg. With great lines I've even track down the farm he came from well my friend dad has never saw a huge Boer buck like him so I gave him to them hes got some big bone does but the bad thing is he is very smart he just plows through fencing so I had to put a log chain on him but think god the does that are bred were bred by a nice alpine buck then the same guy that gave them to me wants to sell me his 2 Boer doers that are bred by him nice looking does one black dapple doe in one red doe but I'm worried if there are aggressive to he says there not but he also said the buck wasn't either I think I might skip on it

You might sell him registered with the disclaimer that he is aggressive. I hope it doesn't come off harsh because I don't mean to be, but registered and having good lines does not always mean they are good animals. I sold off a doe last year who was triple registered and had great lines because she did not have the body to back it up. She went to a nice family who wanted a home milker, which is what she was, good bloodlines or not. I think of it the same way in people---in any family of intelligent, well-educated, polite, successful people..along comes a little "Johnny" who no one can BELIEVE is from that family. Just saying that maybe you have a Johnny---nice pedigree, has potential, but he is who he is and you'll have to decide what to do there because you probably aren't going to change him.

I'd have to agree... that boy needs to be BBQ. Why would you give such a problem to someone else? Registrations are only good if you have good animals along w/the paper. As for the boer does, if you really want them, I'd say get them. You don't KNOW that the bad behavior was passed down. After they kid, it shouldn't take to long to find out one way or the other. Sell the kids, keep them, and then re-breed the does to a "better" buck next time.
