Welcome to Backyard Herds! (Nothing like being redundant, eh???)

It's great to see you join us from BYC! I'm new to farming, as we just bought our first (and forever for that matter) five acre farm. Since we are soon to be getting goats and laying hens the topic of chickens comes up, for us, but I don't have time or energy for two different forums. Although I do stop by BYC from time to time. And, your input would be greatly appreciated. I've already gotten some excellent advice from BYH members.

I have a couple journals going, where the topic of chickens has come up, so feel free to check them out and chime in.
